Cornerstone |
Cornerstone is a weekend experience of religious and social significance, so named because it focuses on Christ as the main foundation or cornerstone of our lives.
Separate Cornerstone retreats are held for men and women.
This is a 26 hour retreat held within the parish, the first part of which takes place on a Friday evening with the remainder taking place most of the day on Saturday. (There is NO overnight stay)
Meals are provided on the premises. The retreat encompasses talks, small group discussions, quiet contemplation, Reconciliation and a Eucharistic celebration. Cornerstone provides a wonderful opportunity for spiritual renewal – to live, love and grow in the spirit of the Lord.
In this non-pressured
environment you will be free to talk, listen, or just meditate
on how God has been present in your life.
The Cornerstone experience is a great chance to break
away from your usual routine, and refocus your life while
rejuvenating your faith. |
Who hosts the Cornerstone and where is it?
Men and women who have benefited from past Cornerstone
experiences respectively host the Men's and Women's Cornerstone in the OLM gathering
