Welcome to OLM Volleyball!  We are holding registration on-line this year, please click the link to complete the registration.  This needs to be completed online, prior to 09/01/2011. For this season to be successful we are going to need parents to step up and help out with coaching.  Last year on the 5/6 grade level we had only one parent step up to coach, and he did not even have a child playing.  So please sign up and help out, or we may not be able to field teams, if there are no coaches.  Thank you.

Basketball

The OLM Basketball Program is open to OLMA and CCD students in Grades 1 to 8.
The OLM Athletic Association (OLM AA) sponsors this program.

You can only pay by credit card, we do not have the capability of accepting checks on line.

CHILDREN PLAY FOR THE GRADE THEY JUST GRADUATED FROM

• DEPENDING ON THE TURN OUT FOR EACH GRADE YOUR CHILD MAY PLAY IN THE DOMINICAN COLLEGE LEAGUE. WE WILL NOT KNOW FOR SURE UNTIL THE REGISTRATION IS COMPLETE.
• THESE GAME TIMES AND DAYS WILL BE DIFFERENT FROM THE ONES LISTED BELOW.
• ALL TEAMS WILL BE MADE UP OF 16 PLAYERS. NO MORE/NO EXCEPTIONS.
• PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO OLM WINTER LEAGUE PLAYERS.
• REGISTRATION WILL BE ON LINE ONLY. NO MAIL, SCHOOL DROP-OFF AND/OR RECTORY DROP-OFF WILL BE ACCEPTED.
• The rosters will be limited to the first 16 players on a first come first serve basis.
• The league will be starting two weeks earlier this year (around June 13th) and finishing at the end of July. The league has been expanded to 8 teams so each team will play more games.
• Players are guaranteed 1 quarter of playing team in the regular season.
  During the playoffs there is no guaranteed playing time.
• Registration starts at midnight on 5/4/11 and ends at midnight on 5/18/11.

• Eligibility Requirements - The OLM Basketball Program is open to all children in grades 3rd to 8th who meet the following criteria
  1. Student at Our Lady of Mercy Academy or
  2. Active Member of Our Lady of Mercy Parish AND active registered student in the Religious Ed Program

Program Policy
The Our Lady of Mercy basketball program is committed to providing an opportunity for Girls and Boys to play basketball in a positive and encouraging environment. Players learn to develop individual basketball skills, as well as how to be contributing team members. Our Coaches are expected to focus on positive reinforcement and to be consistently nurturing in both practices and game situations.

Winning is great, but what is most important is that our boys and girls learn and grow from their experience while having fun. Our program is open to all registered 1st thru 8th graders enrolled in OLM Academy or active participants in the OLM Church CCD Program.

TRACK AND FIELD

The OLM Track and Field Team is open to OLMA and OLM/OLGC Religious Education students. 
Races and field events are organized by grade level.
