ST. VINCENT’S PARISH, VALLIERES, HAITI

     Our Lady of Mercy Parish (OLM) has a “twinning” relationship with St. Vincent’s Parish in Haiti.  OLM is part of a program called Parish Twinning Program of the Americas or PTPA (formerly Haiti Parish Twinning Program or HPTP).  PTPA has been operating for almost 30 years and has involved approximately 400 churches and other organizations with poor parishes in Haiti and several Latin American countries.

OLMIS
Our Lady of Mercy Interparochial School

is a Catholic Elementary School established by Our Lady of Mercy Parish in 1951 with the assistance of the Religious Teachers Fillipini. Today, it operates as a parish school for Our Lady of Mercy and Our Lady of Good Counsel parishes. The school provides a quality academic education while advancing the objective of seeking Jesus as a model for daily living.

The Our Lady of Mercy School community has always recognized the importance of living our faith and sharing our good fortune with our local and global communities. Throughout the school year, each grade sponsors a school-wide service project that helps make our world a better place. We gladly accept God’s directive that we are our brothers’ keepers.
