This Sacrament of healing is for both the sick and for the dying.
The Sacrament is intended for anyone who is:

• Seriously ill 
• Feeling the burden of years
• Having serious surgery
• Diagnosed with a terminal illness
• Nearing death
  • (Is best to receive the Sacrament as soon as you know your loved one is nearing death.)
